As the provincial partner of Waste Reduction Week in Canada, the Multi-Materials Stewardship Board (MMSB) is proclaiming Waste Reduction Week from October 19 to 25, 2015. Service NL Extends Hours of Mount Pearl Motor Registration Division

The Honourable Dan Crummell, Minister of Service NL, announced today that the standard hours of operation at the Motor Registration Division located in Mount Pearl have been extended by more than 20 per cent. This location, which serves the highest volume of clients in the province, will now open one hour earlier, at 8:00 a.m., and will close 30 minutes later, at 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

The latest data (2013) from Statistics Canada’s Low Income Cut Offs – After Tax (LICO-AT) shows the province now has the lowest level of poverty in Canada.
