Canada's federal, provincial and territorial (FPT) Ministers of Agriculture met yesterday to discuss the path forward to developing the next agricultural policy framework, which will help Canadian farmers and food processors grow their businesses. Ministers are committed to continued support to the agricultural sector and will reconvene in July to ensure work is on track to launch the next framework on April 1, 2018.

Provincial Government Waiving Replacement Fee for Defective Licence Plates

The Honourable Perry Trimper, Minister of Service NL, announced today that the department will waive fees for a peeling licence plate regardless of the age of the plate. In addition, any customer who paid for a replacement peeling plate since March 2017 will receive a rebate in the coming weeks.
