The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, today released the report of the Electoral Districts Boundaries Commission related to the review of the province's electoral boundaries and a reduction in the number of electoral districts from 48 to 40. The report, due by June 9, was provided to the Honourable Darin King, Minister of Justice and Public Safety, this morning and will be tabled in the House of Assembly later today.

The Provincial and Federal Governments, through Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, are investing a total of $740,000 toward the ongoing revitalization of 24 social housing properties in the Rabbittown area of St. John’s. The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, made the announcement today at the Rabbittown Community Centre in St. John’s.
