The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, was at the Soccer Hut (Topsail Soccer Pitch) in Conception Bay South this morning to announce an $880,000 investment for infrastructure upgrades to sport and recreation facilities in preparation for the 2016 Newfoundland and Labrador Summer Games.

The Department of Transportation and Works is advising motorists that the Avondale Access Road, Route 63, will be closed to through traffic at Hannifan’s Road tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for replacement of a culvert.

The Department of Transportation and Works is advising motorists that the Outer Ring Road between Portugal Cove Road and Thorburn Road will be closed this Sunday, June 28, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The closure is required to enable clean-up efforts.

Equality – A Provincial Strategy for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities, with the unveiling of $1.7 million in accessibility upgrades to the Arts and Culture Centre in St. John’s.
