Today the Provincial Government announced the continuation of the implementation of a Flatter, Leaner Management Structure. A detailed review of departmental structures and management subordinate reporting relationships has been completed, resulting in the net reduction of 287 management (HL pay scale) level positions from core government.

A tender has been issued for the next phase of the construction of the Team Gushue Highway, which will see the highway extended from Kenmount Road to Topsail Road. Once completed, the highway will connect the Outer Ring Road to Pitt’s Memorial Drive.
