Housing Nova Scotia -- More low-income families and seniors will have access to affordable homes thanks to an $18 million investment by the provincial and federal governments over the next two years.

Internal Services -- Nova Scotia is helping firefighters, ground search and rescue crews, medical first responders and the RCMP in rural areas better communicate during an emergency.

Business -- Government will work with the Social Enterprise Network of Nova Scotia to help more social enterprises start and expand. Their new joint strategies were announced today, April 12.

Premier's Office -- Atlantic premiers meeting in Saint John today, April 12, focused on clean energy’s potential for job creation and economic growth and established the Atlantic Clean Energy Partnership.

Waterfront Development Corporation / Communities, Culture and Heritage -- Free concerts and ship tours and Nova Scotia’s best culinary and entertainment experiences are on deck during Rendez-Vous 2017 (RDV 2017) Tall Ships Regatta’s stay in Halifax, July 29 to August 1.

Emergency Management Office -- Ground search and rescue teams in the province are benefitting from a new single dispatch point that will allow them to respond to search requests faster.

Premier's Office / Health and Wellness -- Government is moving ahead with plans to replace the hospital in Pugwash, Premier Stephen McNeil announced today, April 11.

Lieutenant Governor -- Three wines from Nova Scotian wineries will be selected for the 2017 Lieutenant Governor's Award for Excellence in Nova Scotia Wines.

Service Nova Scotia -- Any Nova Scotian with peeling paint on their vehicle’s licence plate is required to visit an Access Nova Scotia Centre to obtain a replacement plate. Defective plates will be replaced at no cost.

Nova Scotia Securities Commission -- The Nova Scotia Securities Commission is alerting investors that Magnum Options, which is operated by Hampshire Capital Ventures Ltd., is not registered to sell securities in Nova Scotia.

Agriculture -- Government announced today, April 10, that work to replace the LaPlanche Aboiteau in Amherst, has been completed.
