Ombudsman -- Une enquête concernant le décès d'un enfant dont la famille bénéficiait de services gouvernementaux, et un examen des établissements résidentiels pour enfants sont seulement deux exemples des cas traités par le Bureau de l'ombudsman en 2013-2014. Au cours de l'exercice, 2 260 nouvelles demandes ont été soumises au bureau.

Ombudsman -- Investigations into the death of a child whose family was receiving government services and a review of residential child-care facilities were among the cases addressed by the Office of the Ombudsman in 2013-14. During the year 2,260 new inquiries were made to the office.

Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal -- The final piece of the wreck of the MV Miner was removed today, June 22, from the coast of Scatarie Island, an environmentally protected area near the Cape Breton community of Main-à-Dieu.
