Premier's Office -- Premier Stephen McNeil is expressing sadness and extending heartfelt sympathies to the family of Allan J. MacEachen after Mr. MacEachen passed away Tuesday, Sept. 12, in Antigonish at age 96.

Lieutenant Governor -- Lt.-Gov. Arthur J. LeBlanc, and Mrs. LeBlanc were saddened to learn of the death of their longtime friend Allan J. MacEachen, former senator, former deputy prime minister of Canada, former minister of the Crown, and longtime member of Parliament from Cape Breton.

Natural Resources -- Government is asking Nova Scotians who use trail cameras to help biologists manage the province’s deer and bear populations by sending in their observations.
