Due to the possibility of an interruption in postal service, Service NL encourages residents to check the expiry dates associated with their vehicle registrations and driver’s licence, as the Provincial Government will be unable to send reminder notices or completed registration materials if postal service is disrupted. Vehicle registration stickers indicate the month a vehicle registration will expire. Vehicle registrations must be renewed by the last day of that month. The expiry date for a driver’s licence is printed on the card. Licences must be renewed by this expiry date.

Sea trials for the MV Veteran underway at Fogo Island and Change Islands are concluding. These are the second phase of sea trials, following several days testing which took place in St. John's. The vessel will proceed to Lewisporte Saturday, July 2 to undergo a post-trial, pre-service entry analysis by Damen Shipyards, Rolls Royce and the Department of Transportation and Works.
